About Us

Founded in 2023, Jamun is a passion project brought to life by two friends. Our founders have a deep love for Indian fabrics and arts. As they lived around the world in different cities, they always carried a piece of Indian textile heritage with them.

Whether in the US, Singapore, or Kenya, they shared the beauty of Indian textiles - in offices, on beaches, and as beautiful gifts for friends and family. After 10 years of this, they woke up one September morning and decided to bring Jamun to life.

Why the name Jamun? Besides being a delectable fruit, we love the nostalgia that Jamun evokes. It reminds us of bright sunny summer days and shades of purple stains. There's nothing quite like it - it’s simple, unique and beautiful. Much like what we want the Jamun experience to be like.

At Jamun, we take pride in making every piece special. Our clothes are handcrafted in small batches, with fabrics sourced directly from weavers. Each fabric is handwoven and dyed with azo-free hues. This ensures the highest quality and attention to detail.
